Your Tomorrow.bio membership just got a little better! We’re always looking for ways to improve the experience for our members, and our welcome box is no exception. We’ve redesigned it to be more practical, secure, and thoughtfully crafted to suit your needs.
A better box for your membership essentials
We’ve upgraded the box itself, moving from a standard cardboard version to a sleek, magnetic closure design that feels sturdy and well-crafted. The branded box also comes with an outer layer for added privacy, so no one will know what’s inside—this extra security ensures your personal choices stay personal 🔐

What’s inside the Welcome Box?
• Emergency instructions: Clear and simple steps to help you and your loved ones respond effectively in an emergency.
• Membership card: A personalized card with an NFC tag to share your emergency details quickly, plus instructions for responders.
• 5 red emergency cards: These cards provide clear, detailed instructions for your loved ones to ensure they’re prepared in case of an emergency.
• Emergency wristband: Adjustable, comfortable, and available in a variety of colors for everyday wear.
• Emergency necklace: A durable design with a metallic charm for easy visibility during critical moments.
• Patient Advance Directive (PAD) and Last Will instructions: Important documents to ensure your wishes are respected.
Let’s take a closer look at each element:
📑 Clarity when it’s needed most
Emergency instructions
The included emergency instructions are simple and direct: They explain how each item in your welcome box plays a role in ensuring you’re fully prepared. These instructions aren’t just for you but they’re for your loved ones too—ensure that everyone is involved, whether it’s family, friends, or close ones, so they’ll know exactly what steps to take.
Patient Advance Directive (PAD) and Last Will instructions
The Patient Advance Directive can help Tomorrow.bio to be more quickly notified in the event of an unexpected death—if you are admitted to a hospital incapacitated (coma, etc.) doctors will usually ask for a PAD.
We recommend that all of our members create a hand-written or notarized Last Will based on the templates provided. This ensures that Tomorrow.bio can carry out a cryopreservation even if there are legal challenges by people (usually relatives) who do not want the patient to be cryopreserved. In most case of cryopreservation there are no legal challenges, but a last will adds extra security in case it's necessary.
These are critical components of your welcome box—they ensure that your wishes are respected and followed without delay.
🤳 A comfortable, practical wristband
Emergencies don’t wait, which is why wearing your emergency wristband is essential. This is how we would summarize it: Adjustable, soft, easy to wear, unisex, available in multiple colors.
Basically, something you’ll actually want to wear!

🚨 Emergency necklace
The emergency necklace is a key part of your safety setup. The 2 charms are designed to catch attention when it matters most: One contains the emergency symbol while the other one highlight the same, clearly written sentence you will find also on your bracelet “Medical body donor, if dead/injured call +49-30-6293-8537 now or tmwbio.org”.

🪪 The cards
Membership card
The membership card is one of the most exciting updates:
• NFC tag: The card includes a built-in NFC tag. Tap it on the phone of someone you trust to set them as your emergency contact. In case of an emergency, they'll know who to call.
• Clear instructions: The reverse side of the card features emergency instructions to guide responders.
• Personalized details: Your name is printed on the card, ensuring medical teams can identify you immediately.
• Unique membership number: The card also displays your membership number, reflecting your place in our growing community based on your subscription date.
We’re planning to offer card customization, so you can choose a design that reflects your personal style. It’s an idea we’re excited about and hope to bring to life soon!
You will also find 5 red emergency cards providing detailed instructions for your loved ones—this ensures they are always prepared in case of an emergency, you find more information below.

Your membership, but better
We’ve designed this welcome box with practicality and ease of use in mind, ensuring it meets your needs and supports your membership. But we know there’s always room to make things even better. Small next steps:
- Custom inserts to keep the various items in place.
- Improve the documents' presentation.
- A 3D model you can build (we were thinking about a little dewar!).
If you have any suggestions or feedback, we’d love to hear from you. Your input helps us refine and improve—after all, who better to guide us than our members?
Thank you for choosing Tomorrow.bio 💙
